Kathmandu – A shocking case of a Nepal traffic police assault has led to the suspension of four officers at the Jansewa Traffic Division. The viral video, shared widely on social media Thursday morning, shows the officers physically attacking a civilian in broad daylight.

According to Deepak Giri, spokesperson for the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office, the incident occurred under Akashe Bridge in Sundhara on Mangsir 11 (Nov 27). All four officers have been summoned to the head office, where an internal investigation is currently underway.
