Federal Parliament’s Budget Session Begins
Both Houses of Parliament convene after a three-week break

Kathmandu: The budget session of the Federal Parliament has officially commenced today, with the first meetings of both the House of Representatives and the National Assembly starting at 1 PM.
The previous winter session concluded on Chaitra 19, giving lawmakers a short recess before the new session. The parliament is now reconvening after approximately three weeks.
This session will focus on critical legislative agendas, including the presentation of the government’s annual policy, programs, and the upcoming national budget.
