Nepal to Implement High-Level Economic Reform Report in FY 2082/83

Kathmandu: The Government of Nepal has announced that it will implement the recommendations of the High-Level Economic Reform Suggestions Commission in the upcoming fiscal year 2082/83.

President Ram Chandra Paudel, addressing a joint session of the Federal Parliament, said the report will be enforced to revitalize the economy. The commission, chaired by former Finance Secretary Rameshore Khanal, has already submitted its report to the government.

In addition, the President emphasized that the government will promote collaboration among the public, cooperative, and private sectors to create employment opportunities and reduce poverty.

He also noted the government’s plan to encourage public-private partnerships (PPP) to achieve higher, broader, and sustainable economic growth.

Furthermore, President Paudel highlighted the need to maintain policy coordination between fiscal and monetary policies to support economic stability.
