PM Oli Discusses India-Pakistan Tensions with Indian Ambassador
PM Oli reiterates Nepal’s firm stand against terrorism and assures no Nepali land will be used against neighbors.

Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli met Indian Ambassador Naveen Srivastava on Friday at his residence in Baluwatar.
The meeting focused on the April 22 terrorist attack in Pahalgam, India, which escalated tensions between India and Pakistan. Srivastava briefed PM Oli on the current situation. He clarified that India had taken retaliatory action but did not carry out jet strikes, as some reports had claimed.
Srivastava also thanked Nepal for its statement condemning the attack. The message, issued Thursday, expressed solidarity with India during the crisis.
PM Oli reaffirmed Nepal’s commitment to global peace and its firm stance against terrorism. He assured Srivastava that Nepal would not allow its land to be used against any neighboring country.
“This act of terror must be condemned universally,” Oli said. He also emphasized Nepal’s dedication to peace and regional stability.
