Kathmandu : The PM Oli Indian Ambassador meeting took place on Friday at Baluwatar, where Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli welcomed Indian Ambassador Naveen Srivastava. The two leaders discussed recent regional tensions, including the April 22 terrorist attack in Pahalgam, India, and Nepal’s continued role in promoting peace and stability.
Focus on the Pahalgam Terrorist Attack
During the PM Oli Indian Ambassador meeting, Srivastava briefed Oli on the Pahalgam attack that escalated tensions between India and Pakistan. He clarified that India had responded with targeted security measures but did not carry out jet strikes, contrary to earlier media reports.

Nepal’s Stance on Terrorism
Srivastava thanked Nepal for issuing a strong statement condemning the attack. Nepal’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed solidarity with India and called for global unity against terrorism.
PM Oli reaffirmed Nepal’s zero-tolerance policy toward terrorism. He assured the ambassador that Nepal would not allow its soil to be used against India or any neighboring country.
