Says the Plan Lacks Usefulness, Follows Tradition

Kathmandu: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) lawmaker Swarnim Wagle remarked that the government’s policy and program for this year focuses more on tradition than usefulness.
Speaking in the House of Representatives on Tuesday, Wagle said he has been hearing similar policy outlines for the past 12 years. “This is something I’ve been listening to for over a decade. It’s limited to rituals,” he said.
Calls for Breaking the Routine
Wagle argued that unless there’s a break from tradition, the policy program will continue to lack relevance. He recalled his initial reaction to this year’s plan: “An exhausted government has presented an old, uninspired agenda.”
No Innovation in the Agenda
According to him, the underlying cause of this issue lies in the inability to innovate. “Even when you examine it closely, there is no real value in the policy and program,” Wagle concluded.
